A clear place to begin

Less searching. More confidence.

Keep the practical pieces of your Legacy learning experience in one place—from getting ready to knowing where to ask for help.

Start with these essentials

Your family quick links.

Before your first lesson

A simple getting-ready checklist.

You can print this page using your browser’s print option.

  • Confirm your enrollment, plan, start date, and any live-session times with the academy.
  • Keep your welcome and account-access instructions where the supervising adult can find them.
  • Confirm that your device can open the academy’s lessons and any required live-session tools.
  • Choose a comfortable learning space with access to charging and basic supplies.
  • Gather pencils, paper, a notebook or folder, and any course-specific materials listed by the academy.
  • Decide how your family will access printable work; ask about alternatives if printing is difficult.
  • Plan adult support for younger learners and regular check-ins for older girls.
  • When portal access is provided, practice opening a lesson and submitting a sample task before the first full learning day.

Learning portal

Your learning home is being prepared.

Our Moodle learning portal is being set up. A public family-login link will be added once access is ready and tested.

If you have already enrolled and are waiting for instructions, contact admin@legacyacademyforgirls.org. Please do not create a second account unless the academy asks you to.

Calendar & orientation

Confirm your family’s dates.

Ask the academy to confirm your start date and any orientation or live-learning appointments. This page does not yet publish a term calendar or recurring live-session schedule.

Before paying, make sure any scheduled experiences fit your family’s time zone and availability.

Make growth visible

A weekly family check-in.

What did she learn?

Invite her to explain one idea, show a finished piece, or describe a problem she solved.

Where does she need support?

Notice whether a difficulty comes from understanding the lesson, using the technology, or managing the learning routine.

What comes next?

Choose a practical next step: more practice, a question for the academy, or a small change to the week’s rhythm.

Handbook and enrollment documents

Request the current written enrollment terms, plan details, and family expectations from the academy before payment. Additional orientation resources will be added as the virtual academy setup is completed.
