A mother supporting her daughter with a learning activity

Your family. Her learning path.

One academy, more than one way to learn.

Use Legacy as your main curriculum or as a meaningful addition to the resources you already love. The right plan depends on her grade, your goals, and the guidance your family needs.

01

Begin with her

Tell us about her strengths, interests, current learning, and the areas where she needs support. Personalization begins with understanding the girl behind the grade level.

02

Build your rhythm

Make space for lessons, reading, printable work, hands-on discovery, and breaks. Your family can organize independent work around a rhythm that fits home life.

03

Notice her growth

Keep samples of her work, talk about what she is learning, and use feedback to plan her next steps. Progress should be visible in her skills, confidence, and work.

A sample learning day

Structure without a one-size-fits-all clock.

This is an illustrative rhythm, not a required timetable. Lesson length and adult involvement should reflect her age, readiness, and individual plan.

  1. Connect & prepareReview the day’s plan, gather materials, and begin with a faith or character reflection.
  2. Learn & practiceWork through an academic lesson, then practice through reading, writing, conversation, or a printable activity.
  3. Pause & moveStep away from the screen for movement, outdoor time, or a snack.
  4. Explore & createApply learning through a STREAMSS™ project, research question, creative task, or practical life activity.
  5. Reflect & shareShow what she learned, organize finished work, and note questions for the next lesson.

Elementary: learn alongside her

Younger girls need an adult nearby for instructions, reading support, materials, and encouragement. Build independence gradually through familiar routines and small choices.

Middle school: guide her independence

Help her plan the week, check progress, and practice asking for help. Independent learning still benefits from regular adult check-ins and thoughtful feedback.
